After some time away, SOAK returns this July for a rare run of intimate Irish shows. Born Bridie Monds-Watson in Derry, SOAK first emerged as one of the North’s most distinctive songwriting voices while still in their teens, earning acclaim for emotionally raw, deeply personal songs that blurred indie folk, dream-pop and alternative rock influences. Their Mercury Prize-nominated debut Before We Forgot How To Dream established SOAK as a singular talent, with later records expanding that sound into bold, expansive new territory.
